Purchase/Installation Questions
If you already have a terminal from Piraeus Bank and ePay:
Check the top right corner of your device to see if the model A920 or A920 Pro is displayed. If the specific model is not shown, you need to contact Piraeus Bank to upgrade your terminal.
If your terminal model is A920 Pro, then the terminal can support the e-Cash Register.
If you do not have a terminal from Piraeus Bank:
To use the e-Cash Register on a POS terminal, you need to visit a Piraeus Bank branch with your ID to obtain a POS terminal that supports the e-Cash Register.
You can use the e-Cash Register application to issue receipts and accept card payments directly from your mobile phone or tablet by following these steps:
- Download the e-Cash Register application on your device, open it, and the first time you use it click the “PURCHASE” button. Select the package you want and follow the purchase and activation instructions.
- From the Google Play Store for Android devices, download the ePay SoftPOS application to accept card payments directly from your mobile phone. Open the application and follow the activation instructions.
The voucher is redeemed within the application environment:
If it is a new purchase, enter the voucher code in the corresponding field at the final purchase step (checkout), before entering your card details.
If it is a subscription renewal (you have already purchased a subscription), open the application, tap the three lines located at the top left of the screen, go to “General Settings”, and then press the “Renew Subscription” button. Select the “voucher” option, enter the code, and follow the instructions.
Due to the deadline for POS and cash register interconnection requirements, you can use the following package for a limited time:
e-Cash Register Voucher: €50 for 3 months
With this package, you have 3 months to complete the voucher process and receive the e-Cash Register free for 1 year.
If you are unable to receive the voucher, renewal can be completed at the regular subscription price.
You can find this package within the application under the available packages (by pressing the “PURCHASE” button on the initial activation screen).

The purchase is completed directly through the application. To complete the purchase, you need:
- Select the e-Cash Register package you want (after pressing the “PURCHASE” button).
- Check that your card has sufficient available balance.
- Confirm with your card-issuing bank that your debit/credit card supports confirmation via SMS or push notification for online purchases.
If you have previously made an online purchase with your card, you can skip this step.

No, you do not need an additional internet connection for e-Tameiaki to operate.
If you use the compatible Piraeus Bank POS terminal (A920 Pro), receipts are issued using the terminal’s SIM card without any additional cost.
If you use e-Tameiaki on your mobile phone, your existing mobile SIM card is sufficient, provided it has enough mobile data available for internet access.
Alternatively, you can optionally use a WiFi network.
Yes, the application can operate without internet for 48 consecutive hours. You can issue your receipts normally, and they are automatically sent without any action from you as soon as the internet connection is restored.
The same applies to areas with low speeds or unstable internet connections. The application operates seamlessly and sends receipts in the background without any required action from the user.
No, the application is automatically installed directly on the terminal. This way, you benefit from the reliability and speed of a standalone device without depending on a fast internet connection.
You also do not need to worry about service availability, as it is located directly on your terminal.
MyData is the minimum obligation required for all Greek businesses since 01/01/2021. It includes the asynchronous transmission of all documents to AADE and does not replace the tax mechanism or the cash register.
MyData through a provider is the modern (online, immediate) transmission of sales documents to AADE. Its use replaces the tax mechanism and any other equipment beyond a computer or smartphone, while also providing tax benefits:
- 3-year limitation period for tax audits.
- 200% accelerated depreciation of all expenses incurred for MyData (provider, software, and technical equipment).
Receipts are issued through MyData via a certified provider and are therefore sent through the corresponding channel (MyData via provider). There is no need to send them to eSend.
Since e-Tameiaki operates through MyData via a provider, there is no need to maintain a cash register book.
On aade.gr, you only need to declare Primer as your electronic invoicing provider and accept the provider agreement through gov.gr.

There is no limit on the number of receipts you can issue. A fair usage policy applies, allowing up to 10,000 receipts per month (120,000 receipts per year).
