If you already have a terminal from Piraeus Bank and epay:
Check the top-right corner of the device to see if the model A920 or A920 Pro is displayed. If the specific model is not shown, you need to contact Piraeus Bank to upgrade your terminal.
If your terminal model is A920 Pro, the terminal is compatible with e-Cash Register.
To use the e-Cash Register on a POS terminal, you need to visit a Piraeus Bank branch with your ID to obtain a POS terminal that supports the e-Cash Register.
You can use the e-Cash Register application to issue receipts and accept card payments directly from your mobile phone or tablet by following these steps:
- Download the e-Cash Register application on your device, open it, and click the “BUY” button the first time you launch it. Select the package you want and follow the purchase and activation instructions.
- From the Google Play Store for Android devices, download the epay SoftPOS application to accept card payments directly from your mobile device. Open the application and follow the activation instructions.
The voucher is redeemed within the application:
For a new purchase:
Enter your voucher code in the designated field during the final checkout step, before entering your card details.
For a renewal (if you already have an active subscription):
Within the application, tap the three lines in the top-left corner of the screen, then go to “General Settings” and select “Renew Subscription.” Choose the “Voucher” option, enter your code, and follow the instructions.
Due to the deadline for cash register integration requirements, you can use the following package for a limited time:
e-Cash Register Voucher: €50 for 3 months
With this package, you have 3 months to complete the voucher process and receive the e-Cash Register free for 1 year.
If you are unable to receive the voucher, renewal can be completed at the standard subscription price.
You can find this package within the application under Available Packages (by pressing the “BUY” button on the initial activation screen).
The voucher required for the e-Cash Register is: Program 3, Category 3: Acquisition of electronic invoicing provider services.

The purchase is completed directly through the application. To complete the purchase, you need to:
- Select the e-Cash Register package you want (after pressing the “BUY” button).
- Make sure your card has sufficient available balance.
- Confirm with your issuing bank that your debit/credit card supports verification via SMS or push notification for online purchases.
If you have previously made an online purchase with your card, you can skip this step.

No. You do not need an additional internet connection for the operation of the e-Cash Register.
If you use the compatible Piraeus Bank POS terminal (A920 Pro), receipts are issued using the terminal’s SIM card, with no additional cost.
If you use the e-Cash Register on your mobile phone, your existing SIM card is sufficient, provided it has enough mobile data (internet data).
Alternatively, you can optionally use a WiFi network.
Yes. The application can operate without an internet connection for up to 48 consecutive hours.
You can continue issuing receipts normally, and they are automatically transmitted as soon as the internet connection is restored—without any action required from you.
The same applies to areas with low-speed or intermittent internet connections. The application operates seamlessly and sends receipts in the background without requiring any user intervention.
No. The application is automatically installed directly on the terminal.
This provides the reliability and speed of a standalone device, without requiring a fast internet connection.
You also do not need to worry about service availability, as the application is installed directly on your terminal.
MyData is the minimum legal requirement for all Greek businesses since 01/01/2021. It includes the asynchronous transmission of all documents to AADE and does not replace a fiscal device or cash register.
MyData via a Provider enables the modern real-time (online and immediate) transmission of sales documents to AADE. Its use replaces the fiscal device and any other equipment apart from a computer or smartphone, while also providing tax benefits:
- 3-year limitation period for tax audits
- 200% super-deduction of all expenses related to MyData (provider services, software, and technical equipment)
Receipts are issued through MyData via a certified provider and are therefore transmitted through the corresponding channel (MyData via Provider). There is no need for additional transmission to eSend.
Since the e-Cash Register operates through MyData via a certified provider, maintaining a cash register logbook is not required.
You only need to declare Primer as your electronic invoicing provider on aade.gr and accept the provider agreement on gov.gr.

There is no limit on receipt issuance.
A fair usage policy applies, allowing up to 10,000 receipts per month (120,000 receipts per year).
